White Bear Yacht Club takes great pride in its sailing history and its unique opportunity to offer this sport in a country club setting. The spectacular scenery combines with the convenience of the club’s facilities for wonderful sailing experiences. White Bear Yacht Club was one of the founding members of the Inland Lake Yachting Association and was host to the first ILYA Championship regatta in 1898.

The White Bear Yacht Club sponsors racing in eight different fleets including A Scow, E Scow, C Scow, MC Scow, Catamaran, X Boat, Club 420, Laser and International Optimist Dinghy.

Sailing instruction for adults and children, a like, is available through the White Bear Sailing School.
