Golf Digest lists the White Bear Yacht Club in their 2017/2018 list of 200 of America's Greatest Golf Courses.

White Bear Yacht Club has been ranked 67th in the Top 100 Golf Courses of the USA 2018.

Golf Club Atlas has named White Bear Yacht Club #1 on their list of Top 30 Golf Courses in Minnesota.

In 2017-2018, Golf Digest ranked the White Bear Yacht Club 5th in the state of Minnesota on their Minnesota: Best In State Rankings list. This list is comprised of the best courses in the state including daily fee, resort and private courses.

NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED PRIVATE CLUB
White Bear Yacht Club is ranked 20th (Yacht Club) amongst 235 of the most highly regarded private clubs in the United States (2016-2018) as voted by the Club Managers and Board Presidents from more than 6,000 private clubs across the country. Clubs are ranked in five critical categories: Quality of Membership, Tradition and Culture, Amenities, Governance and Quality of Management and Staff.

White Bear Yacht Club ranked 67th in the nation on GolfWeek’s 2018 Best Classic Courses list. This list is comprised of the best classic courses in the country including daily fee, resort and private courses. GolfWeek defines classic courses as courses that were built before 1960.

White Bear Yacht Club is designated a “Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary” by the Audubon .Cooperative Sanctuary System (ACSS). WBYC is the tenth course in Minnesota and 290th in the world to receive this honor. In order to achieve certification, a golf course must demonstrate that they maintain a high degree of environmental quality in the following categories: Water Conservation, Outreach and Education, Environmental Planning, Water Quality Management, Integrated Pest Management, Wildlife and Habitat Management.
