White Bear Yacht Club members enjoy a beautiful, Donald Ross-designed golf course ranked 5th in the state of Minnesota by Golf Digest and 72nd in Classic Courses in the United States by Golf Week. It is one of the finest courses in the Twin Cities area.

Our professional golf staff proudly delivers an exceptional private club experience for members and their guests. Our "no tee time policy" and strong caddie program, first-class facilities and our personal approach to service on and off of the course makes every round at WBYC a memorable one. 

The course features variations in lie, undulating greens and raw beauty in layout, offering a challenging, yet enjoyable course members never tire of playing. Seasoned members are continuously impressed by the superb course conditions, ability to access the course at their leisure and the exemplary pace of play making the game both enjoyable and convenient.

Weekly junior golf programs and clinics are available for all levels. These focus on chipping, putting, full swing fundamentals, rules, etiquette and golf course management. Games, drills, and special on-course junior tees make learning golf fun for all ages.

Women’s golf clinics are available for ladies looking to learn golf for the first time or just brush up on their game. Season long single and partner competitions are offered for ladies with a competitive spirit. Guest Days and Theme events are also offered throughout the season.

For Men who enjoy friendly competition, season long single and partner match and stroke play events are available. There are also casual games to be had on any given day at the Club.
